Ouro Fino Agribusiness is 100% Brazilian company and acts since 1987, when it has started its activities producing and commercializing pharmaceutical products for animal health. It has one of the greatest and most modern factories of Latin America, with a total area of 125 thousand square meters, located in Cravinhos/SP.
Ouro Fino constructed throughout its 21 years a history of respect and trust. It has a strong trademark and a consolidated reputation in the national and in the international market, mainly at Americas. Nowadays, it is one of the main exports of the section, having business in more than 30 countries.
Some factors confirm this positioning in the market. Ouro Fino Animal Health, the main business unity of the company, occupies the seventh place at the ranking of the greatest animal health companies in Brazil, sharing the leadership with multinationals.
Ouro Fino Agribusiness grows around 25% per year, an average that is higher than the one of the section that has an average growth of 7%. Currently, it counts on more than 12 thousand active customers.
In 2007, BNDS Participações S.A. - BNDS Par, a subsidiary of the Brazilian Development Bank - BNDS purchased 20% of Ouro Fino’s participation.
